Coordinated manufacturing for B2B projects
Custom Welding Services for Frames and Fabricated Assemblies
BGCNC coordinates custom welding and related manufacturing for overseas companies sourcing frames, racks, brackets, enclosures and welded mechanical assemblies. We manage the connections between fabrication, welding, machining, finishing and inspection through a network of manufacturing partners in Dongguan and the Pearl River Delta.
By reviewing the whole manufacturing route early, we help address weld distortion, critical dimensions, visible seams and post-weld machining before production begins.
A coordinated plan considers fabrication, weld sequence, finishing and critical interfaces together.

More than joining parts
Plan the assembly, not just the weld
Weld strength is only one part of a reliable fabricated structure. Material thickness, joint access, fit-up, heat input, fixture design and operation sequence can all affect final dimensions and appearance.
Heat can pull a frame out of square or shift a mounting face. A weld that meets its drawing requirement may still need grinding or finishing if it is visible or interferes with assembly. Reviewing the design and downstream operations together helps identify these risks early.
Dimensional control
Identify critical dimensions, flatness, squareness and mounting datums that matter to installation.
Weld access and fit-up
Review joint layout and assembly order so the chosen production route suits the geometry.
Appearance requirements
Clarify which seams are visible, and whether welds should be ground or meet a stated finish requirement.
Inspection planning
Agree inspection points and acceptance criteria before work begins. Documentation scope depends on the selected partner.
Fabricated parts and assemblies
Welding support for custom equipment builds
Projects can range from prototypes and replacement components to repeat low- and medium-volume production, including high-mix assemblies that combine welded structures with other custom parts.
Machine frames and bases
Structural supports and frames with dimensional or machined interfaces.
Racks and stands
Equipment racks, mounting structures and stands for industrial systems.
Brackets and subassemblies
Brackets, gussets and multi-part welded components.
Boxes and enclosures
Sheet metal boxes, guards and enclosures for equipment applications.
Machined-interface frames
Welded structures with critical mounting features, faces or datums.
Mixed-material assemblies
Assemblies combining sheet metal and machined components where the route is a suitable match.
Steel, stainless steel and aluminum projects can be reviewed based on the design requirements and the selected partner’s capabilities. Specify material, thickness, finish and application in your RFQ.
One coordinated route
From components to finished assembly
When operations are sourced independently, customers can be left managing handoffs and unclear responsibility boundaries. BGCNC provides one manufacturing and supply-chain interface to coordinate the work across its network of 50+ proven manufacturing partners.
Not every project needs every operation. The route is matched to the part, order quantity, quality requirements and target lead time.
- 01
Engineering and drawing review
Review materials, joints, tolerances, assembly interfaces and finish requirements.
- 02
Component manufacturing
Coordinate laser-cut or formed sheet metal, machined parts and other required components.
- 03
Fixture planning and welding
Review locating and clamping needs, then manage welding and assembly against approved drawings and agreed quality criteria.
- 04
Post-weld machining and finishing
Coordinate machining of critical faces, holes or datums and arrange specified preparation or powder coating where suitable.
- 05
Final inspection and delivery preparation
Coordinate checks, packaging and international logistics support as agreed.
Welding, machining and finishing
Plan the interfaces before production
Machining and powder coating can expose problems when treated as unrelated follow-up operations. A coating may cover a surface that should remain bare for grounding or fit. Machining a mounting face after welding may be essential for alignment, but it also affects sequencing, datum planning and cost.
BGCNC coordinates these interfaces as part of the manufacturing plan to help reduce rework, finish damage and disputes over supplier responsibility.
Details to confirm in your RFQ
- Areas that need masking or protection before finishing
- Whether welds are ground, left visible or treated to a stated requirement
- Which holes, faces or datums should be machined before or after welding
- How coating thickness affects mating parts and clearances
- Whether the assembly ships welded, finished or partially assembled
The right sequence depends on the design and end use. Process suitability and inspection scope are confirmed with the selected manufacturing partner during quotation and engineering review.
Engineering review
Choose a practical process for the project
Welding can be a practical choice for low- to medium-volume structural assemblies that combine cut, bent and machined parts. It is not always the best route: a one-piece machined part, formed component or alternative fabrication method may suit the geometry, quantity, tolerance and lifecycle better.
Our engineering team has 10 manufacturing engineers with more than 10 years of industry experience. They can assess the proposed route and identify opportunities to simplify a design or avoid unnecessary operations.
Quantity and repeat demand
Prototype, short-run and recurring orders may justify different tooling or process choices.
Geometry and access
Joint layout, weld access and assembly sequence all affect manufacturability.
Dimensional needs
Tight alignment or flatness may call for fixtures, machining allowances or post-weld machining.
Appearance and environment
Visible welds, corrosion exposure and coating requirements inform material and finishing choices.
Total delivered cost
Component production, welding, inspection, finishing, packaging and supplier coordination all contribute to project cost.
For equipment makers and industrial teams
A fit for multi-process sourcing
Our services are designed for international hardware and industrial companies that regularly source custom components and need a reliable China-based manufacturing interface. Typical applications include automation equipment, packaging machinery, testing systems, laboratory equipment, industrial machinery and electronics hardware.
A strong fit when your project includes
- Welded frames or enclosures alongside CNC-machined components
- Multiple part numbers or suppliers within one equipment BOM
- Prototype development followed by repeat low- or medium-volume orders
- Quality requirements that need clear inspection planning
- Fabrication, machining and surface finishing coordinated in China
Our partner network includes manufacturers operating under internationally recognized quality systems. Certification availability and scope depend on the partner and work performed. Include any certification, material traceability or inspection documentation requirements in your RFQ for review.
Common questions
Welding project FAQs
Which materials can you coordinate for welded assemblies?
Steel, stainless steel and aluminum projects can be reviewed where the selected partner’s capabilities and the design requirements are a suitable match. Share material, thickness, finish and application details in your RFQ.
Can you coordinate post-weld machining and powder coating?
Yes. Where suitable, the coordinated route can include machining critical faces, holes or datums and specified surface finishing such as powder coating. The sequence is planned around design and end-use requirements.
What inspection or quality documentation can be provided?
Inspection points, acceptance criteria and any requested reports should be shared during quotation. Availability and scope depend on the selected manufacturing partner and the work performed.
